Ovulation blood test timing can give insufficient information
Have you ever had blood tests done to evaluate ovulation? Or have you assumed you are ovulating because you have a regular cycle? On the other hand, have you been told your blood work in fact shows ovulation hasn’t actually occurred in one or more cycles?
Before you accept that you are, or are not ovulating, there are some important considerations to explore in order to be more reliably informed about this aspect of your fertility.
Optimal timing for blood testing is critical and this can vary from one woman to another. A woman with a signifiant variation in follicular or luteal phase length may need to be tested on a different cycle day to the prescribed ‘norm’.
